Use either USB-C or USB-A with a host that supports USB external storage and the card’s file system. Compatible host categories include USB-C iPhones and iPads, Android devices with USB OTG, and USB-C or USB-A computers, including compatible MacBooks. Use Files on iPhone or iPad, or a supported file manager on Android and computers. This reader does not connect directly to Lightning devices. USB 3.0 and a suitably capable memory card are required for maximum reading speed. Connect only one host plug at a time.
